Diagonal Skating
Also known as Animal Skating, Diagonal V-Skating, Single-Pole Skating or Herringbone Skating.
A movement often used in cross-country skiing, where the legs skate (rather than stride) along the direction of travel, with the skier's arms working oppositely to the legs (i.e., the skier's left leg and right arm go forward at the same time, followed by their right leg and left arm.
